Professor Oyelowo Oyewo (SAN)
Prof Oyewo (SAN) graduated from the University of Ife with a Bachelor of Laws degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria. His career has taken him through several public and private institutions including The Federal Ministry of Justice; Hatcher, Coaxum, Hewitt, Grimes & Manning, Los Angeles, USA; University of Lagos, Nigeria; and most recently he served as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Oyo State (2019-2023).
He is a Professor of Public Law and a legal consultant on constitutional, administrative, governance and development law. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, USA.
He served on the Board of Lafarge Cement; WAPCO Nigeria Plc; Glanville Enthoven (Insurance Brokers) Ltd and currently serves on the board of some companies and institutions.
Professor Oyewo (SAN) leads the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and the Energy and Power Law units of the firm’s practice.
